Valve design

4. Lubricant: A special lubricant is applied between the body and the plug, which prevents corrosion and facilitates the plug's rotation.

To ensure tightness, the sealing surfaces of the plug and body are conical. Sealing against the external environment is achieved by means of a gland seal, which can be tightened with anchor bolts.
