Fully welded flanged ball valves of the full-bore series PN 16 are universal and reliable shut-off devices designed for a wide range of industrial, municipal, and technological pipelines. The monolithic fully welded body made of structural steel eliminates threaded or flanged joints on the housing itself, fully protecting the system from external leaks and ensuring resistance to bending and vibration loads.
The product line of this series is extended up to DN 150, which allows meeting the needs of both small units and large distribution networks. The design is full-bore: the diameter of the hole in the ball completely matches the internal diameter of the pipeline. This ensures maximum throughput, eliminates turbulence, and prevents pressure drop in the system.
Design features and materials:
- Fully welded body: Made of carbon steel 20#, which has excellent strength characteristics.
- Shut-off ball: Made of stainless steel SS304, guaranteeing high corrosion resistance and smooth operation without jamming.
- Stem: Made of 2Cr13 steel and equipped with sliding bearings made of SS304 + PTFE, which reduces the torque when operating the handle.
- Double sealing: The ball seat is made of carbon graphite-filled PTFE (PTFE + C), and the stem is sealed with fluororubber rings VITON (FKM), ensuring Class “A” tightness.
The valves are ideally suited for central heating systems, cold and hot water supply, water utilities, boiler houses, as well as technological lines in the food, chemical, and oil refining industries.
