Gate valves 30ch515br, 30ch915br PN 10 are cast iron parallel gate valves with a non-rising stem, intended for use as shut-off devices on pipelines. Control is carried out using a manual or electric actuator. The gate valves are suitable for working with such media as water and steam at temperatures up to +225 °C.

Construction and principle of operation

The 30ch515br, 30ch915br gate valve consists of the following main elements:

1. Cast iron body with brass sealing rings.
2. Cover is attached to the body with bolts through a paronite gasket to ensure a tight connection.
3. Steel spindle moves the gate disks up or down using a manual gearbox or electric drive.
4. Spindle seal is ensured by a gland packing.

The principle of operation is as follows: when the manual or electric actuator is activated, the spindle receives translational movement through the sleeve. This movement causes the gate disks to move down to shut off the flow of the medium or up to open it.

Operating features

1. Gate valve 30ch515br, 30ch915br can be installed in any position on the pipeline, except with the drive facing downwards.
2. Before installation, it is necessary to check:
   • Condition of the inner cavity of the gate valve;
   • Smooth movement of the disks;
   • Reliability of fastening connections.
3. After installation, it is recommended to flush the pipeline with the gate valves open before starting the system.
